SECOND OVERTIME SWEATBANDS BACKSTOPPER is the most absorbent line in our selection and has the most size options.
BACKSTOPPER has three thicknesses to choose from. Because of the way we design our products you can expect consistent performance throughout the line. Even the thinnest option brings almost 85 percent of the absorbency of the thickest option. This means you can make your selection based entirely on the fit of your mask (as you always should).
The orange BACKSTOPPER-sweatbands are made from rayon blend which many goalies already recognise to be tried and true. The fibers of this material are long and have a lot of space between them. This space allows it to absorb and capture liquids very efficiently.
The loose structure of the fibers means that BACKSTOPPER may show signs of wear earlier than the sweatbands of ELITE+/ELITE-lines, but this is mostly visual and has very little to do with performance.
The difference in absorbency between thicknesses is negligible. You should make your selection based on the fit of your mask.

Care instructions
Hand wash or machine wash warm (40°C).
Lay flat or hang to dry. Do not tumble dry.
Using a fine mesh laundry bag will help protect the sweatband during machine wash.
Taking good care of your sweatbands between uses keeps you playing worry-free and guarantees you can fully focus on the task at hand: stopping those pucks. These sweatbands are designed to absorb and hold on to everything you "throw" at them, therefore it's important to wash or at least give them a quick rinse after use.
Please note
The sweatband comes with the softer (loop) side of hook-and-loop fastener on the back. Make sure you have the rougher side (hook) on your goalie mask. The hook side is not included with the sweatband.

SECOND OVERTIME SWEATBANDS ELITE+ is made from soft to touch, anti-pilling and durable microfiber material. This high quality and resistant to wear material makes the ELITE+ sweatband last long - but even more importantly makes it very comfortable to use.
Many of the sweatbands that come with retail goalie masks feel fine when they are dry, but after getting wet become abrasive and itchy. Our ELITE+ sweatbands feel velvety smooth when wet and allow you to fully focus on the task at hand.
The difference in absorbency between thicknesses is negligible. You should make your selection based on the fit of your mask.
